Samuel Gnanam IT Centre is the pioneer institution for Industrial Software Engineering Training in Jaffna, which trains and guides IT graduates to reach heights in their IT career. SGIC, as a charitable organization under the Trust of ‘Deshamanya A Y S Gnanam’ , who is the founder of St. Antony’s Group in Sri Lanka, bridges the skills of IT graduates to the industry with the gaps that is generally seen from any fresh graduates. JAVA TECHNICAL LEAD

- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JAVA/JEE development
- Experience in web services (REST/SOAP), spring, JPA/hibernate, XML
- Exposure in:             
               Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data
               Angular 4/5
               SSO, LDAP
              Oracle 11g
              Cassandra, ELK
              Linux, Bash Scripting
- Capability of understanding and designing software architecture
- Knowledge and understanding of industrial best practices in software development
- Thorough knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns
- Experience in enterprise level open source web development frameworks
- Familiar with telecommunication domain, Telco CRM, Rating, Billing, charging knowledge 
- Experience in JIRA and agile-based methodology such as scrum will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Good written communication and public relation skills

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in JAVA / JEE development
- Thorough knowledge of OOP concepts and enterprise design patterns principles
- Experience in enterprise level open source web development frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate.
- Knowledge working with SOAP/ REST web services
- Knowledge working with SQL, PL/SQL
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of industrial best practices in software development
- Good written communication and public relation skills
- Experience in Angular JS, Oracle ADF, Python scripting, PHP will be an added advantage.

LEAD - SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE

- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering
- Thorough knowledge on software quality assurance and testing
- Good understanding in Object Oriented Concepts and ability derive algorithm
- Good knowledge in software development, the software development life-cycle
- Exposure in test automation using Selenium or any similar tools
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB will be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in Agile/Scrum
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

SENIOR QA ENGINEER

- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

- 2+ yrs exp Object-Oriented Concepts, System Analysis and Design, Architectural and Design Patterns, Unit Testing
- UML, Web Application Development
- Basic Experience or Knowledge in the following areas
- Building, Packaging and Deployment Tools, Web and Application Servers, Database Technologies
- HTTP Web Services (eg:- SOAP / REST)
- Oracle, MSSQL & other Database Technologies, Unit testing & Engineering Best Practices
- Strong hands-on experience in one or more web/application servers. e.g.: IIS etc.
- Knowledge on other Open Source Technologies is an added advantage.

- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Testing. ​
- Experience in web services (REST/SOAP), spring, JPA/hibernate, XML
- Design, develop, and Implement automated testing and tooling solutions will be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of industrial best practices in software development
- Manual and Automated testing experience in Testing User Interfaces, Web services, API’s.
- Experience with scripting / coding. ​
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, /Opium, Dieter, or Postman will be preferred
- Experience with SQL and databases.
- Experience in enterprise level open source web development frameworks
- Good written communication and public relation skills
